Welcome
The Duke Journal of Public Affairs is Duke's premier public policy publication. Facilitating student contributions to political discourse, enhancing the academic experience Duke offers, and encouraging scholars to translate concepts from the classroom into meaningful applications in the world.
This non-partisan bi-annual publication draws on talented undergraduate and graduate students from across the political, economic, and philosophical disciplines, asking them to develop critical new ideas in domestic and international affairs. The Duke Journal incorporates evaluations of policy that mesh practical and theoretical approaches to contemporary issues.
We aspire to scholarship. Our formula couples research with comprehensive and in-depth articles. The core of each issue consists of strong academic papers that have passed faculty review. As incentive to publish original research, we help students through the research process, offering editorial advice, as well as connections to professors and experts in the field.
If you have an article, research, or policy paper prepared, please submit it to dukejournal@duke.edu, and thank you for visiting dukejournal.org
